Subject: Fremantle Foundation News

Dear ,

In this newsletter, I am delighted to announce that, on behalf of our giving community, the Fremantle Foundation has distributed nearly $250,000 in grants to 24 not-for-profit organisations across Western Australia and interstate over the past four months.

We would like to thank our giving community for their continued support and generosity which has allowed us to have a bigger impact by supporting more organisations, in more places, who are now able to reach more people, adding strength and resilience to our community.

As shard by Australian Community Philanthropy, the anthropologist Margaret Mead is said to have put it: ‘Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world: indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.’

MEET PAULINE EVES

In September, we farewelled Brooke Smith, Grants & Administration Manager, after four years of dedicated work and welcomed Pauline Eves, Grants Coordinator to our team.

Pauline joins us with a wealth of experience in both the For Profit and Not-For-Profit sectors, having been involved with WA Charity Direct for over 10 years.

Pauline is passionate about the impact of what purposeful philanthropy can achieve within the WA community. As a long-term Fremantle area resident, she is excited about the opportunity to work with Fremantle Foundation, our giving community and not for profit organisations.
