The term ‘Felix Culpa’ can describe how an unfortunate event or tragedy can lead to a happier outcome.
We are unable to change the event that caused Felix’s tragedy but we can give from his legacy and honour his passion for the visual arts and music.
Our vision is to help a young artist, or group of artists, follow their dream and perhaps one day make a mark on the world. Felix had only just begun, there are many more journeys to be had.

FELIX BURROWS MUSIC RESIDENCY PROGRAM
Western Australia’s peak body for contemporary music, West Australian Music (WAM), represents the state's thriving music scene. WAM supports artists, bands, individuals, and businesses that contribute to and belong to the WA music community.
In a first-time collaboration with the Fremantle Foundation, WAM and Named Fund, Felix Culpa have joined to establish a dynamic new artist residency program, the Felix Burrows Music Residency.
The program offers two three-month residences per annum, providing talented Western Australian Musical artists with a fully equipped studio space in the beautiful grounds of Goolugatup Heathcote. In addition, each resident artist will also be offered a stipend to assist with the creation and development of new work while in residence. Whilst no fixed outcome is required, the program’s central focus is to support professional growth and development for local musicians.
The Felix Culpa Fund generously supports the residency program in recognition and remembrance of local musician and visual artist Felix Burrows. The Felix Burrow’s Music Residency is a fitting and beautiful tribute to Felix's legacy and creativity.
The Fremantle Foundation offers its thanks and respect to the Felix Culpa Fund and Felix’s family for the opportunity to be a part of a wonderful community program.
